Our primary intention is to foster and develop the creative thinking, visual literacy and problem-solving skills considered necessary for students to function effectively in the future, whatever their discipline.Required:Master’s in photography, fine arts, or art; OR A Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in art history or humanities; OR the equivalent; OR a fully satisfied (Life) California Community College Instructor's Credential in Art & Design, including Photography.Requires a sensitivity to, and understanding of, the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.Additional Requirements:MFA in Photography or MA with 21 graduate studio units of photography and/or at least two years recent (within last 5 years) successful college level teaching experience in photography.
