Join our dynamic photography team as a 2nd Shooter at newNsight Photography! In this energetic and vital role, you will collaborate closely with lead photographers to capture stunning images at a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, special occasions and portrait sessions. Your enthusiasm for visual storytelling, combined with technical expertise in photography will help us deliver exceptional moments that clients cherish forever. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity for you to grow your skills with free photography consultation and training while providing opportunities for you to suppliment your income while contributing to memorable experiences.

Duties

Work independently of lead photographer to help capture high-quality images during events, ensuring shot composition aligns with company brand, artistic vision and client expectations
Operate photography lighting equipment and support setup to achieve optimal lighting conditions for various scenes
Manage photography gear efficiently, including cameras, lenses and accessories, maintaining equipment integrity and readiness
Execute post-production tasks such as photo editing, color correction, image processing using Adobe Lightroom & Adobe Photoshop
Communicate effectively with clients before and after shoots to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction through professional service

Required Skills/Work Ethic

Excellent time management skills, and ability to prioritize timeliness
Excellent client communication skills to understand their vision and deliver tailored results
Proficiency in photography techniques including shot composition, lighting setup, and photo manipulation
Strong knowledge of post-production workflows involving Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere
Understanding of color management principles and color theory to ensure accurate color reproduction across media
Ability to tell visual stories through both photography that resonate emotionally with audiences
Knowledge of photography gear maintenance and art direction to enhance creative output
Must have own equipment that includes professional DSLR or mirrorless camera(s) and all with adequate accessaries + speed light(s) (Nikon cameras and mobile studio equipment a plus)
