What You'll Need to Succeed: To excel in this role, you’ll need to meet our equipment requirements and show a strong commitment to customer service and professionalism. Reliable internet access, a current driver’s license, and dependable transportation to job sites are essential.

As a Capture Technician, you'll be responsible for conducting on-site 3D scans, HDR photography/video, and drone photography/video using Matterport, DSLR, and drone equipment. It’s crucial to maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and spatial awareness in all visual assets. You'll represent Metroplex360 with respect and professionalism, communicate effectively with our teams, and manage your schedule while adhering to our quality standards and deadlines.

Required Equipment: To deliver exceptional results and align with our production standards, applicants must possess the following gear:

Full-Frame DSLR or Mirrorless Camera capable of bracketing 5+ exposures in AEB modeWide-Angle Zoom Lens (14-16mm preferred)Sturdy TripodBall Head tripod mountMatterport Pro2 or Pro3 Camera for 3D virtual toursDrone (with Part 107 FAA license)Compensation: We offer competitive, project-based pay based on assignment type and scope. For Matterport captures, compensation is based on square footage, while photography and other services are compensated per job. Technicians can typically earn $70-$100 per hour based on efficiency and deliverables, with most individual jobs starting at $70+, and potential for more depending on project complexity, location, and turnaround time. Full compensation details will be provided during onboarding.

Requirements: Ideal candidates will have a background in photography, surveying, or related fields, and should be comfortable on their feet for extended periods. Reliable transportation to various job sites is a must. To qualify, you must complete a remote certification course in real estate photography and submit a test photoshoot. Upon onboarding, you’ll need to provide a W-9 form with a valid EIN and a current Certificate of Insurance.
