Adjunct Instructor, Photography and Photoshop

Wake Technical Community College is seeking to expand our pool of part-time faculty to teach photography and Adobe classes. Openings for this position may or may not be available at this time; however, after a review of qualifications, applicants may be contacted in the future. • Prepares instruction that reflects appropriate learning objectives • Constructs classroom materials that support the goals of the course • Prepares thoroughly for each instructional hour • Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner • Uses formative and summative assessment techniques to improve learning and teaching • Adheres to prescribed curriculum and a schedule of instruction • Remains up to date on technology and methods of teaching with technology • Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance • Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment • Provides feedback and/or grades on students’ class work, assignments, and test/quizzes in a timely manner • Counsels students regarding their grades and progress in the course Demonstrated ability to utilize technology as needed for instruction in both online and seated classes including the use of Adobe, Teams, and internet-based activities.
