About the Position • This is a part-time, temporary faculty position that involves instructing students in assigned discipline of photography, including teaching day, evening, online courses and/or off-campus sites. • The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in photography, fine arts, or art, or a Bachelor's degree in any of the above and a Master's degree in art history or humanities, or equivalent qualifications. • A sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students is required. Qualifications and Requirements • To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for faculty in California Community Colleges. • Applicants should submit a current resume, letter of intent that addresses minimum and desirable qualifications, scanned copy of official transcripts with required degree(s), and two (2) current letters of professional reference signed and dated within last year.
