Administrative Assistant/Digital Marketing Assistant

The position requires availability of the candidate in the mornings and early afternoons…perhaps some weekend availability will be necessary. The position will begin on a part time, consultancy, basis (a few hours a week) – to grow in number of hours and responsibilities if the relationship between client and consultant is successful. ** Candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Tutor client in various computer skills • Tutor client regarding social media concepts and use of various social platforms • Create online marketing channels for gallery/store through Facebook, Instagram, et al and manage all accounts/channels • Tutor client in e commerce concepts • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operation of store • Answer phone calls, schedule meetings, interact in person with customers; respond online to customer inquiries and to customer orders • Research for potential client opportunities; research for other projects. • Assist in all aspects of fulfilling online and in store purchases • Administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc. Candidate Skills: \\- high proficiency in all aspects of social media, social media marketing, influencer marketing \\- high proficiency with ecommerce platforms like Etsy, Shopify \\- high proficiency with Microsoft 10 and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, et al) \\- high proficiency with Android operating systems for Samsung Note 8 phone and more recent models \\- general and if possible specific expertise in online/digital marketing, marketing strategies and branding \\- familiarity with basic accounting concepts \\- familiarity with Wordpress \\- proficient typist \\- some photography skills \\- prior sales experience is preferable \\- high School degree a minimum with additional qualification/experience as an Administrative assistant or Secretary Candidate Characteristics: \\- enjoys communicating ideas \\- loves beautiful things and enjoys sharing this beauty with other people \\- strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task \\- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work – self starter is key \\- Attention to detail and problem solving skills \\- Ability to anticipate needs of the client and customers \\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate concepts to client and to customers in unique, creative ways \\- Highly patient with the client and with customers and exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and in person.
