While the majority of duties can be executed virtually, there are times (that will be discussed in advance) when some duties will be conducted onsite. This person will support the CEO, create an internal and external communications strategy and will play a vital role in launching several brands over the next year. This position is ideal for an experienced marketing or administrative professional seeking part-time work or a college student studying marketing, business administration, entertainment and media. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Some of the key responsibilities of this position include: Administrative Assistant (50%) Schedule meetings, managing CEO’s personal and work calendar, sending reminders Filing and data entry; taking meeting notes Acts as a point of contact for internal and external personnel Write and distribute email and various correspondence Prepares expense reports Prepares facilities for scheduled events Maintains and controls confidential information in a mature and responsible manner Drafts correspondence such as email and letters Coordinates events and speaking engagements Marketing & Social Media Manager (30%) Offers administrative support on brand and social media campaigns Occasional photography & live video recording Engagement on personal and professional social media outlets Researches industry innovation and tools Content writing and creation Brainstorms social and branding campaigns Prepares analytics reports on campaigns Marketing research Personal Assistant 20% Book travel arrangements Run errands as requested All other duties are as assigned SKILLS Excellent time management and organizational skills Excellent written and communication skills Superb knowledge of social media platforms such as Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter Experience with Hootsuite, Canva, iMovie, MailChimp, and EZ Text Prior experience in administrative, marketing or social media Eagerness to learn Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and make critical decisions REQUIREMENTS High school diploma with some college; Bachelor’s degree preferred 1-2 years of work experience, prior experience in marketing, communications, social media a plus Proficiency in using office software such as MS Word & Excel, Google Workplace, Dropbox Must have personal transportation Must have valid drivers license To apply for this position, interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume by May 1, 2021.
