Sterling e-Marketing is looking for an organized, creative, and social-media-savvy Administrative Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role is a great fit for someone who loves creating content, stays on top of social media trends, and can also keep projects, details, and day-to-day marketing tasks organized.

While this position includes administrative and marketing support, a major focus of the role will be social media content creation. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable getting behind the camera, helping direct people in front of the camera, capturing content on location, and turning everyday moments into engaging social posts, Reels, Stories, and short-form videos.

What You'll Do

Social Media & Content Creation

Create engaging social media content for our clients
Capture photos and videos at client locations, businesses, events, and other on-site shoots
Create short-form video content for Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
Help develop creative concepts, scripts, trends, and content ideas
Edit short-form videos and prepare content for publishing
Stay current on social media trends, sounds, formats, and platform changes
Help build and maintain social media content calendars
Work with clients and team members to identify opportunities for timely, authentic content
Be comfortable approaching employees and customers and helping them feel natural on camera
Assist with behind-the-scenes content, employee features, events, promotions, product features, and other client storytelling

Marketing & Administrative Support

Assist the marketing team with day-to-day projects and client needs
Help coordinate marketing materials, promotions, events, and campaigns
Organize digital assets, photos, videos, files, and project information
Help gather information and materials needed from clients
Update spreadsheets, project trackers, calendars, and other internal documents
Assist with coordinating meetings, deadlines, and project details
Provide general administrative support to help keep projects moving
Jump in wherever needed in a fast-paced agency environment

What We're Looking For

You don't need to be an expert in every area of marketing. We're looking for someone who is creative, organized, dependable, comfortable with technology, and excited to learn.

The ideal candidate:

Enjoy social media and understand what makes content engaging
Is comfortable taking photos and shooting video
Has an eye for good visuals, composition, and storytelling
Is comfortable appearing on camera when needed
Can confidently work with other people to create on-camera content
Has experience with or is willing to learn basic video editing
Has strong written communication and proofreading skills
Can manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
Pay attention to details
Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Is willing to travel locally to client locations to capture content
Bring ideas to the table and don’t be afraid to try something new

Experience with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.

Then has the initiative to grab the phone, capture it, and help turn it into great content.

At the same time, you'll help our team stay organized and make sure the details behind our marketing campaigns don't fall through the cracks.
