APPLY AT: https://digitalfirstmedia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/MNG/job/San-Rafael- California/Advertising-Operations-Director_R703 Summary/Objective Marin’s Advertising Operations Director is the Prepress Manager who supervises two advertising operations support staff and interfaces with Marin’s Publisher, Advertising Manager, Marin sales staff, Bay Area News Group production and press room staff, and outside printers and vendors to ensure ads within the daily newspaper product and website publish correctly and that monthly special sections are produced on deadline for insertion. • Point person for output to plate on various platforms. • This position is responsible for coordination of all special sections, from design to story assignments to photography collection to dummying of the sections through text and photo placement and revisions, and ultimately, output to plate for printers. • Possess a desire to work for a fast- paced, results-based company • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Strong time management and organizational skills.
