Afterschool Program Teaching Assistant - Brandeis Marin

Shift typically starts 3pm to ends 6pm daily Hourly Rate: $18. We are looking for a After School Teaching Assistant who is available Monday thru Friday, for a 3-hour shift from 3pm to 6pm. Be an active participant and a positive role model to children  Follow set schedule of activities  Maintain the classroom as an organized and clean space  Assist in preparing Program schedule  Keep track the attendances of students, assist with billing  Enforce school Polices and Rules  Perform other related duties as required Minimum Requirements for the job:  High school diploma or GED  Excellent verbal communication skills  Negative TB Test results  Clean background (Background check required)  Consistent availability during program hours  Experience working with children in a structured setting (grades K-8)  Strong classroom management skills and ability to manage large groups of students  High level of professionalism  The knowledge and background to lead activities in one or more of the following areas: o Sports, Fitness & Recreation o Life Skills o STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) o Film Making and Photography o Arts (painting/drawing, sculpting, crafts, etc.) Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
