OverviewPhoto Production & Communications Assistant (Part-Time) – Recent Photography BFA/MFA Graduate. In-Studio | 2-3 Days/Week | East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.About UsAimée Wilder is a Brooklyn-based design studio creating materials, furnishings, and accessories for commercial and residential interiors. Our collections span wallpaper, textiles, rugs, tiles, and fine artwork — all reflecting a unique blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and distinctive style.Role OverviewWe’re seeking a recent graduate (BFA or MFA in Photography, completed within the last 2 years) who is detail-oriented, creative, and highly organized to support photography, retouching, sample management, and communications. This is a hands-on, part-time role ideal for someone eager to work closely with a small, fast-paced creative team and gain real-world experience across photo production, product presentation, and client communication. It’s a perfect fit for a motivated recent grad ready to bridge the gap between school projects and professional, commercial-level photography work.Key ResponsibilitiesPhotography & Retouch: Assist in setting up and styling product and still-life photo shoots; operate tethered shooting setups and basic studio lighting; retouch product and lifestyle images to commercial quality standards.Samples & Product Handling: Prepare, label, and ship product samples and orders; maintain and organize the sample library across all product categories.Communications & Website Support: Assist with website updates and newsletters for new product launches; support email outreach and brand-to-brand communications; help organize incoming catalogs, product information, and supplier details.QualificationsRecent BFA or MFA in Photography (completed within the last 2 years) — required.Strong Adobe Photoshop and CaptureOne skills.Strong attention to detail, with an eye for color, composition, and image quality.Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Familiarity with Shopify, Squarespace, or similar platforms a plus.Interest in interiors, textiles, and design is a bonus.Experience with customer service, order processing and sales is a plus.Light personal assisting experience is a plus.Schedule: 2–3 days/week, in-studio only (East Williamsburg).Hours: 14–20 per week to start.Pay: $17.50–$20.00/hour.How to ApplyPlease submit your resume, portfolio link, and a brief cover note explaining why this role excites you and how your background aligns with the responsibilities.
