American Social - Corporate is looking for a Director of Marketing

They are the point of contact for the creative, branding, and public relations agencies, and coordinates projects with them. The Director of Marketing & Branding works with pride and must have a tremendous work ethic that sets the tone for the team. RESPONSIBILITIES Attend and participate in leadership meetings, and ideations sessions, sharing a point of view that is aligned with branding efforts and traffic building Coordinate development, design, implementation, and execution of all marketing initiatives Design projects utilizing InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc, in both print and digital applications Creates and manages marketing calendar extending out monthly, quarterly, and yearly Build annual marketing budget and adjusts monthly and quarterly as needed Manage, update, and monitor all online presences including search engines, company websites, social pages (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, etc), reputations platforms (Yelp, Trip Advisor, Rep.com, etc) third party reservations sites, and AdWords campaigns. Creates marketing plans resulting in increased awareness and traffic Manages internal branding messaging including providing materials for orientations, hiring sites, and other internal communication tools Develops social media campaigns and calendars Develops and manages menu and creative briefs for the branding agency Manages relationship with branding, creative, and public relations agencies and coordinates projects, deadlines, updates, etc. Develop cover art for brochures, advertisements, events, and other related marketing material Develops marketing materials, graphics, presentations, illustrations, exhibits, logos, taglines, banners, signs, brochures, billboards, and newsletters both with assistance of branding agency and independently Photography and photo editing skills Conduct research in new/emerging markets, competitor analysis, and inbound marketing Administration of direct mail, email, and various marketing campaigns Coordinating and participating in PR events, both partnership with the PR agency and independently Researches and maintains emerging social media and marketing tactics, and is out in front of all trends Engaged in ongoing restaurant operations and documenting for real time, and future social media postings Create and maintain database of client and agency profiles, events, inquiries, and social media content Coordinates print jobs such as menus, fliers, and various marketing assets Coordinate and executes social media ad buys, billboards, direct mail, and other prints related projects Manages and updates the marketing budget and invoices Assists operations in the implementation and tracking of reputation sites including Yelp and Rep.com Provide support to the Director of Operations and other Team Members on marketing related topics Managers any Marketing Managers, Coordinators, or Interns 30% travel may be required based on varies priories ABILITY TO: Bring creative ideas to build sales and overall brand awareness Use a creative mindset and stay ahead of the trend Multi-task and have a great sense of urgency with changing priorities Works multiple concurrent projects to meet absolute deadlines Effectively communicate with all levels and individuals within the organization Work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Prioritizes projects and solicitates direction when necessary Take quality pictures Attend all events to gather content for real time and future postings Recognizes premium aesthetics Maintain a professional and polished appearance Follow company budgets and established goals Succeed in a fast pace environment Work nights and weekends as necessary Work 12+ hours shifts as necessary Flexibility with scheduling Occasional travel required for meetings, PR events, and agency commitments EDUCATION AND SKILLS: BA/BS Degree, preferably in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field 4 years’ experience in agency or restaurant marketing Basic knowledge of graphic design and/or production with editing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe CS (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and other graphics-related software SEO, AdWords, and website management proficiencies are preferred Expert on all social media platforms including planning, scheduling, and analytic programs Must be authorized to work in the United States Click Here to Apply
