Art Merchandising Assistant Role and Responsibilities Learn the business of selling art in a retail environment by accessing or growing skills relevant to the auction world as well as retail selling! The function of this role is to support the Merchandising Manager in all aspects of inventory management, event & gallery merchandising, product support, and department project management. We are willing to train and looking to grow this role over time to take advantage of the assistant’s advancing knowledge and skill sets – so you are motivated and future-oriented! • Provide Manager with context information required for pricing of new artworks and follow through with entering all new or updated pricing to various systems (FileMaker, Microsoft Dynamics). • Assist in departmental projects, in particular auction/sale catalog production, and regular promotions.
