Artist's Assistant

Aaron Knight is seeking a part-time Assistant to support his creative photography. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with a professional artist. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in art production and sales, including recruiting talent, coordinating shoots, marketing, and administrative tasks.The ideal candidate is reliable, persistent, and ready to support the full sequence of duties as follows.DutiesAssist with models: recruiting, scheduling, and keeping them ready for successful photo shoots.Studio and set: setup equipment, recharge and store equipment, as well as assisting in the construction of sets and props.Administrative responsibilities include listing artwork with dealers, posting advertisements, and packing purchased items for shipment.Bring your own skills and interests, for example developing black and white film or jewelry making.Compensation and perks$21.50-$23.50/hourPart time, flexible weekday hoursHands‑on training and mentorship are availableFinancial bonuses or commission arrangements availablePreferred experienceOne or more years experience in the arts is desiredTwo to five years of total work experience is desiredInterpersonal skillsAbility to learn new skills and stick with tasks to completionTransportation requirementLocal with reliable transportation to West Ashley#J-18808-Ljbffr
