Assistant Photographer

Duties & Responsibilities * Serve as a second set of eyes and soundboard to the Photographer * Determine appropriate camera settings, light and shoot with attention to detail and an eye for the edit * Serve as an ingest technician when the Photographer is tethered directly to the laptop for image import * Serve as second shooter when needed * Interface and communicate with colleagues and internal clients to assess photography needs * Work with photographer and team to deliver the highest quality product with the most effective customer service * Carefully follow direction and guidance from photographer and internal team to ensure compliance in capturing images * Continue to develop skill set and eventually evolve into the role of a primary photographer Requirements: * Command of modern digital still photography (portraiture, commercial, editorial), equipment, lighting and processes * Proficient with photo editing software, specifically Adobe applications * Excellent management of high pressure situations * Ability to work effectively with senior management, creative colleagues and clients in a corporate environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Careful attention to detail * Professional presence and superior client relationship skills * Energy, enthusiasm and initiative * Commitment to excellence and staying current with new technologies and techniques Bonus Points: * 1-2 years of experience in Photography. * Experience in a corporate, formal setting and interfacing with executive-level talent
