The successful candidate should combine an active and visible record as a practicing professional artist, a fresh pedagogical perspective, and an ability to teach commercial and professional standards, providing students with a solid foundation in the artistic and technical skills required for a professional career in the field. • Teach courses in photography, including Intro to Photography, Intermediate Photography, Studio Photography, Advanced Photo Editing, and Photography Portfolio Development. • Ability to teach introductory and upper-level analog and digital photography courses as well as courses in medium and large format photography, and visual literacy, with the ability to teach commercial and professional standards where appropriate. • Evidence of excellence in teaching, demonstrated teaching experience appropriate to the level of appointment, and evidence of scholarly/creative activity.
