Associate Photographer

This role is ideal for someone with photography experience who loves working with newborns, children, and families. Key Responsibilities • Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment, props, and lighting for photo sessions • Clean and sanitize studio space between sessions to ensure a safe, welcoming environment • Take out garbage and maintain general studio organization • Support the Photography Director during photo sessions as needed • Photograph sessions with guidance and eventually independently, depending on experience and training progress • Perform light editing tasks, including photo culling, file transferring, and organizing images on hard drives • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in editing and storage processes • Communicate warmly and patiently with families, especially with newborns and children, to create a comfortable session experience • Maintain technical awareness of photography equipment and software What We Offer • Direct mentorship and training from the Photography Director/Owner • Hands-on experience in a professional boutique studio • Opportunities to grow into an independent photographer role within the studio • A creative, family-centered work environment where your contributions matter
