About Us O'marie Photography is a boutique newborn and family photography studio dedicated to creating timeless, heartfelt images that capture life’s most precious moments. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Photographer to join our team. Key Responsibilities • Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment, props, and lighting for photo sessions • Clean and sanitize studio space between sessions to ensure a safe, welcoming environment • Take out garbage and maintain general studio organization • Support the Photography Director during photo sessions as needed • Photograph sessions with guidance and eventually independently, depending on experience and training progress • Perform light editing tasks, including photo culling, file transferring, and organizing images on hard drives • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in editing and storage processes • Communicate warmly and patiently with families, especially with newborns and children, to create a comfortable session experience • Maintain technical awareness of photography equipment and software
