## The Role

As an Associate Photographer based in Baton Rouge, LA, you’ll be part of the talented media collection team for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a top-of-the-line Pro 3 Matterport camera, digital camera equipment, and an iPad, you’ll create virtual tours, floor plans, and photography for residential homes. You’ll be given a core territory where you’ll service clients by scanning homes and apartments with the Matterport Pro3 camera, capturing both 3D virtual tours and residential photography for marketing purposes. This role works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and a remote Photography Manager.

### Key Responsibilities

- Support marketing efforts by capturing beautiful 3D virtual tours and floor plans
- Build a portfolio of photographs that best feature homes and apartments
- Work with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands
- Communicate professionally with clients, sales partners, researchers, and management
- When not on a residential assignment, navigate one-mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage—identify new inventory, missing availability, and properties to be photographed
- Follow Co. Star safety standards and safeguard company vehicle and equipment
- Represent Co. Star in a professional manner at all times
- Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed

### Physical Requirements

This role involves repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day. You must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds. Repetitive hand and arm movements are needed for typing on a tablet or laptop and operating camera equipment. Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are required. You must be able to work and drive outside during all seasons, and work weekends on a rotating schedule.

## Qualifications

- At least 2 years of professional experience with a track record of commitment to prior employers
- Real Estate Photography experience required; experience as a professional photographer or a recently earned degree in photography
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong customer service experience with a client-first mindset
- Must be an experienced Drone Photographer with an FAA Part 107 License/Certification (obtained within 30 days of offer)
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Capability to accurately capture and enter data
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and Apple iOS products
- Enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Field experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required; satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start, with a history reflecting responsible driving behavior

## Compensation & Benefits

Base compensation for this role is $49,000–$50,000 per year (paid hourly). Co. Star Group offers generous compensation and performance-based incentives, plus a comprehensive benefits package including:
