We are looking for a reliable photographer to join our team capturing on-location client sessions throughout the Bay Area. DRIVING CAN BE 40+ MILES ONE WAY.
This is an exclusive team role and is not compatible with operating a separate photography business or servicing private photography clients- candidates who are not operating their own portrait photography business are highly encouraged to apply (please have experience shooting people- couples, families, children).
Weekend and sunrise or sunset availability are required, and applicants must be comfortable traveling between multiple locations in a day. This position is ideal for someone who has a full-time position and would like to make extra money/do what they love and perhaps be wanting to be a full-time photographer in the future (this position has massive opportunity for growth for the right person).

This position is best suited for someone who loves capturing people and meaningful moments, makes clients feel comfortable and confident, takes feedback well, and values consistency and reliability. It is ideal for someone who would like to earn supplemental income. This role will not initially replace full-time income but has room to grow for the right person.
We are seeking a photographer with a strong passion for portrait photography and an eye for natural, emotive imagery. The ideal candidate is skilled at capturing authentic moments while creating a comfortable and guided experience for clients. Experience photographing families is essential, along with maternity and couples or engagement sessions.
Responsibilities include capturing high-quality RAW images for family, maternity, and couple sessions, editing and delivering polished images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, and maintaining accurate color representation and consistency. You will collaborate with our team to execute visual direction and brand standards and occasionally capture short iPhone video clips when requested.
Professionalism is essential. Communication responses should be within 24 hours, preferably sooner. Photographers must arrive early and prepared for each session, dress appropriately for the brand, and manage time efficiently to ensure all poses and important moments are captured within the session window. Our clients invest significant time, energy, and trust in these sessions, and honoring commitments is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate proven portrait photography experience and provide full galleries of work. Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop is required. A strong understanding of color consistency and editing workflow is important, along with the ability to follow creative direction and maintain brand standards. Excellent communication skills, strong organization, and attention to detail are necessary. The right person has an outgoing yet grounded presence, can read a room, and meets clients where they are emotionally, offering guidance without being overbearing.
Sessions typically range from 30 to 60 minutes. Travel throughout the SF Bay Area is required, with most sessions taking place in San Francisco and Santa Cruz. We do not bill clients for travel within the Bay Area, so comfort with driving is essential.
Sunrise, sunset, and weekend availability are required.
Professional photography equipment is required, including a professional camera body, portrait lenses, backup gear, and reliable transportation.
This position begins as very part-time and offers growth opportunities for the right candidate. Trial pay/period for the first 3 shoots. After the trial, pay is increased. Again, growth, including pay, can be increased for the right person.
