This is in-person internship is one of those special opportunities. A small sampling of these events includes the world’s largest auction (the contents of the ocean liner SS United States), the landmark Cold War auction of artwork from the Soviet Union, and the definitive auctions devoted to such iconic individuals as John F. Kennedy, Princess Diana, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Duke Ellington, and Mickey Mantle. The auction house has an immediate, in-person, internship available to a person interested in the world of auctions or in any of several related fields (art gallery, museum, antique dealer, etc.). As a small auction house, Guernsey’s will expose the intern to every phase of preparing for and conducting major auctions. Please note: It will be a solely in- person internship with no virtual or work from home component.
