This internship provides a unique opportunity to develop skills in a professional auction house.Responsibilities:Photography:Assist in setting up and photographing artworks, antiques, and collectibles with an emphasis on capturing accurate colors, details, and textures.Collaborate with the photography team to ensure consistent and high-quality images for cataloging and marketing purposes.Handle and care for valuable items during the photography process.Execute all other tasks and duties as directed by managementPost-Production:Assist in the post-production process, including image editing, color correction, and cropping.Ensure that all images meet the auction house's standards for quality and accuracy.Cataloging Support:Work closely with cataloging teams to provide visual documentation of items for auction catalogs and online listings.Assist in maintaining organized digital files and records of all photographed items.Equipment Maintenance:Help maintain and organize photography equipment and studio space.Report any technical issues or maintenance needs promptly.Qualifications:Pursuing or recently completed a degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field.Passion for photography, especially in the context of fine art and collectibles.
