Automotive Parts Photography Associate - Lansing

About the position Responsibilities • Assist with photographing automotive parts • Generate photo-realistic images for use in online automotive catalogs • Assist the photography team during setup, image capture, and end-of-day procedures • Perform backup photography duties and cross train • Receive, prepare, scan and track parts for imaging • Review and assess digital assets to ensure they adhere to quality requirements • Import, edit, and retouch images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom • Manage the file organization process to consistently meet performance and turnaround expectations • Successfully execute special projects as designated • Assemble and disassemble equipment and products as necessary for photo shoots • Transport and maintain equipment between shoots as required • Uphold organizational and safety standards at the warehouse location Requirements • Candidates should ideally live in Lansing or nearby areas • A strong background in digital photography is essential • Familiarity with photography composition, equipment, and editing techniques is required • Proficiency in operating digital camera equipment and studio flash is necessary • Willingness to travel as needed, including trips over 60 miles from Lansing and longer assignments if necessary • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting while following all safety and organizational guidelines • Requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds • Professional communication and conduct are a must • A strong work ethic (reliability, punctuality) and teamwork skills are essential • Candidates should be open to adjusting their photography methods based on constructive feedback • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are critical Nice-to-haves • A degree in photography is preferred, but not mandatory
