Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) Content Creator & Photography Assistant

Job Summary

I am seeking a fun, bright, and energetic Behind-the-Scenes Content Creator & Photography Assistant to join my senior portrait photography sessions! In this role, you will accompany the photographer on shoots to capture engaging social media video and photos, assist with time management, and ensure high school seniors and their parents feel comfortable, relaxed, and excited throughout their session.

Schedule & Availability

Frequency: Once a week (typically Tuesdays)
Duration: Approx. 2.5 to 3 hours per shoot (scheduled around 3 hours before sunset)

Key Responsibilities

BTS Content Creation: Capture high-quality video and photo content during senior portrait sessions using a provided Google Pixel phone set to 4K at 60fps.
Client Engagement & Experience: Maintain an upbeat, supportive atmosphere to help high school seniors feel confident and relaxed in front of the camera.
Time Management & Logistics: Review pre-shoot briefings sent via text and email prior to each shoot (detailing official locations, schedules, and specific session notes), and assist in keeping the shoot on schedule.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong eye for visual composition and familiarity with current social media video trends (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
Fun, bright, energetic personality with a proactive and professional work ethic.
Experience filming and editing video content intended for social media platforms.
Comfortable using or open to learning how to operate an Android device (Google Pixel).
Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to and between various shoot locations.
Geared towards creative young adults/students (age 18–24 preferred).

Compensation & Perks

Paid per photo shoot you assist OR option for trade (complimentary professional photo shoot session and edited images).

Pay: From $30.00 per day
