Bilingual Spanish Photographer — Austin, TX

Austin School Photography is seeking a bilingual Spanish-English photographer to serve the growing number of schools across Austin and Central Texas where Spanish is the primary language spoken by families, students, and administrators. Many schools in the Austin area — particularly in neighborhoods like East Austin, Del Valle, Manor, Pflugerville, and South Austin — serve student populations where Spanish-speaking parents are the majority. When picture day arrives, those families deserve to communicate with someone who truly understands them, not someone fumbling through a translation app. As our bilingual photographer, you will be the first point of contact for Spanish-speaking families on picture day. You will communicate naturally in Spanish with parents who accompany their children, answer questions about the photography process and ordering, and build the kind of trust that makes families return year after year. You will also coordinate in Spanish with school administrators and staff who prefer to communicate in Spanish, ensuring picture day runs smoothly from setup through teardown. This role covers the full range of school photography — individual portraits, class photos, sports and team photography, yearbook events, graduation, and school galas. You bring the bilingual communication skills; we train you on everything else. Prior photography experience is preferred but not required. What matters most is fluency in conversational Spanish, patience with children and families, and the energy to maintain a high-quality experience through a full school day.
