This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Seattle, WA Photo Studio (Monday through Friday).Lead a photo team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the photo production studioDrive team performance by coaching, teaching, and giving clear, actionable feedback to support growth and ensure consistent, high-quality creative outputManage studio resources—procure supplies and equipment, maintain inventory, and oversee regular maintenance of gearShape team-level strategy and help implement process improvements in a fast-paced, evolving production environmentBuild strong partnerships with brand creative teams, aligning with direction set by Senior LeadershipFoster an inclusive, respectful team culture where everyone feels valued and supportedOversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring a smooth workflow from initial request through post-productionManage daily studio operations, coordinating resources and activities for both in-studio and on-location shootsOwn seasonal photo shoot schedules, managing timelines, photography teams, and support staffServe as the main point of contact between internal teams (creative, merchandising) and external partners during photo shoot planning and executionCollaborate with the Creative Director to align production timelines and creative goalsProvide subject matter expertise in photo production operations, contract negotiation, and vendor partnership termsHandle all logistics for location shoots, including insurance, permits, and security requirementsManage project-level budgets—allocating spend, hiring freelance staff, tracking costs, and reconciling invoicesLead and support contract merchandise coordinators and assistants, ensuring team efficiency and clarity of rolesRequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in photography production and studio operations, with advanced knowledge of eCommerce photography standards and workflowsDeep experience in product and marketing photography, with a strong understanding of current techniques and trendsExpert-level photography skills, with a history of supporting multiple brand aesthetics in a fast-paced, high-volume studioSkilled at turning creative strategy into clear direction and effective execution across a teamStrong decision-maker with a track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines without compromising qualityHighly organized, detail-driven, and self-directedProven ability to lead the execution of creative concepts while balancing both fiscal and creative accountabilityStrong photography background with hands-on experience directing production teams in high-volume, multi-brand environmentDeep understanding of industry production practices and local Seattle vendor landscapeExperience managing and negotiating with freelance crews and external partnersSkilled in translating creative strategy into practical execution across teamsExcellent communicator with strong reading, writing, and organizational skillsConfident multitasker with a sharp eye for detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a collaborative, leadership-focused mindsetDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage input from multiple stakeholdersBenefitsAt R2Net, many of our roles offer a high-quality, comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, paid time off, retirement planning and opportunities for career advancement.
