If you are interested in developing a career, cabinetmaking is an excellent trade for the long term. They do a very good job of teaching you recreational woodworking but we'll teach you how to actually make a living at it. She built this piece all by herself after having been with us for a total of only 2 1/2 months of regular working experience. These skills would take you a couple of years to learn at woodworking college because the people who teach there have never actually owned a cabinet shop. Anybody who has ever gone through the program will tell you it was a lot of fun.
