If you are interested in developing a career, cabinetmaking is an excellent trade for the long term. They do a very good job of teaching you recreational woodworking but we'll teach you how to actually make a living at it. These skills could take you a couple of years to learn at woodworking college because the people who teach have not necessarily ever actually owned a cabinet shop. Since it is OUR money we're spending we have a much greater incentive to train you to be effective. Anybody who has ever gone through the program will tell you it was a lot of fun.
