Camp St. Charles, a Catholic residential summer camp located in Southern Maryland, is looking for a full time photographer for its 2022 season. This is a seasonal position from June 11th–August 13th. This position is open to photographers of all skill levels and does not require prior professional experience.
The camp photographer is an incredibly important piece of our organization. Parents love and appreciate being able to see their children enjoying all of the activities we offer. Our photographers provide a level of connection that lets parents have peace of mind and gives families memories that will live long after their time at camp.
Responsibilities:
· Capturing fun and engaging photos of our campers during their stay at camp
· Sorting, editing, and uploading photos each day to our online portal to be viewed by parents.
· Create end of session compilations in either video or slide show form to be shared with campers and uploaded to YouTube.
· Editing and sorting best photos for promotional use.
Requirements:
· Applicants must have their own camera and laptop.
· Strong time management skills to meet daily upload requirements.
· Basic technical skills using a camera and editing software of choice.
· Must be able to commit to living on site for duration of contract.
· Must love working with children
· Employment is contingent on passing state and federally mandated background checks.
