Camp Skylemar, a residential summer camp in Maine, is seeking a creative and passionate Photographer to capture the people, energy, and unforgettable moments of camp life. This is an exciting opportunity for a college student or recent graduate with strong photography skills and a love for outdoor adventure to build their portfolio and be part of an impactful community.Job ResponsibilitiesTake daily photos of campers, staff, activities, and facilitiesCapture candid moments, action shots, and group portraitsEdit, organize, and upload photos regularly for use in marketing and social mediaCollaborate with the Photography & Media team to tell the story of camp through imagesManage and care for photography equipment, ensuring backups and safetyIdeal CandidateExperience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and photo editing software (Lightroom, Bridge, Photoshop)A creative eye and ability to capture authentic momentsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and willingness to live and work in a camp environmentExperience working with children or in dynamic settings is a plusCompensation & PerksStarting salary: $3,200.Free housing, meals, laundry, and WiFi.Round-trip travel expenses covered.Staff clothing and access to camp facilities.Internship credit available.
