The Camp Photographer / Videographer captures the heart, energy, and stories of Horizon Day Camp through photography, videography, and storytelling. Prior to Camp Opening • Attend required staff training and orientation • Review camp schedule, special events, and key moments to plan coverage • Set up systems for file storage, labeling, and editing workflow • Collaborate with Camp Director on content strategy Camp Documentation & Content Capture • Take high-quality photos of campers, staff, volunteers, and camp activities • Film videos of events, theme days, performances, and candid moments • Conduct short interviews with campers and staff for social media or end-of-summer recaps • Capture fun, spontaneous, and “magical” moments throughout the day As our Camp Photographer / Videographer, you will play a critical role in capturing the stories that make Horizon Day Camp so special. This is more than a media role—it’s a chance to make a meaningful difference every single day, preserving the joy, resilience, skill-building, and normal childhood experiences of children and families facing complex, life-changing circumstances.
