We are a family owned gift shop and “Old Time Photo Studio” in Old Town Temecula seeking a responsible and friendly part-time cashier/sales/photographer who would be able to work (11am-5pm) weekends with the potential for full time hours in the very near future. We are looking for someone to greet customers on arrival and assist the customer with any questions they may have about what they are looking for/potential purchases they want to make, inform of photo offerings, assist in costume choices, and eventually take photos. (We will train for all, no photography experience necessary, but welcome if qualified) Duties and responsibilities include: \\- Handle cash transactions with customers \\- Collect payments \\- Issue receipts \\- Greet customers when entering or leaving establishments \\- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas \\- Keep reports of transactions \\- Bag, box, or wrap packages \\- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction \\- Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales position \\- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment and POS systems (i.e. cash register etc.) \\- Strong communication skills \\- Customer satisfaction-oriented \\- Attention to detail \\- Sales skills Job Requirements: \\- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs \\- Must be able to stand or walk for majority of shift \\- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast- paced environment. \\- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
