Catering Chef / Kitchen Manager ($20/hr)

Spirit is seeking an experienced Catering Chef / Kitchen Manager Compensation: $20/hour, with potential for overtime, percentage points on catering sales, tips eligible, 2 weeks paid vacation, $200/week towards healthcare, 6 month review Expected Hours: 4 - 5 days/week; 30-40 hours per week Friday - Tuesday 9:00am - 5:00pm Additional hours when catering events Purview: Catering Menu Development, Costing & Execution / Inventory / Ordering / Receiving / Kitchen Equipment Maintenance / Daily Prep Work Responsibilities: \\- Maintain ACHD Food Safety manager certification \\- Maintain a positive work environment by humbly leading by example \\- Execute all offsite and onsite catering events w/ the help of the kitchen staff. \\- Provide FCOGS for catering P&L;’s and Budgets. \\- Complete monthly Inventory on proper date and email final numbers plus a monthly waste report by the 7th of each month \\- Place, receive and process all food vendor orders. \\- Enforce standards for plating, portioning & quality control \\- Follow SOPs for minimizing/tracking waste \\- Enforce ACHD standards & cleanliness of kitchen \\- Maintain and enforce proper organization of all kitchen/catering equipment & utensils \\- Delegate responsibilities when taking days off \\- Work w/ Creative Director and Social Media Manager on fulfilling food photo needs \\- Attend and come prepared to discuss new menu items and staffing concerns the weekly mgmt meeting on Mondays @ 1pm \\- Delegate and/or water planter boxes yourself. \\- Weigh and record all harvested herbs/veggies/flowers in the garden budget spreadsheet
