Children's Photography Assistant

We are a woman-owned, woman-operated team looking for someone to assist our multiple photographers in preschools around Phoenix and surrounding areas. Duties include assisting with getting children ready for photos, organizing paperwork, assembling proofing portfolios, taking and processing orders, data entry, assisting with marketing through social media videos, and working with the preschool's staff to ensure that photography runs smoothly.

This position requires attention to detail, and a passion for working with children. If you enjoy an ever-changing, fast-paced environment, working with little humans and have a strong ability to work collaboratively with a team, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking to hire as soon as Sept 8th, 2026 for at least 2 positions.

Our full-time photographer's assistants would need to be available at least 4 days a week between the hours of 7:00am-6:30pm Monday through Friday.

Part time shifts are from 7-12, 7-3, and 12:00-6:30pm or 2:00pm-6:30pm (flexible days)

Experience not necessary: training will be provided.

We are looking for someone to start training ASAP. This position will start at $16-18 an hour depending on experience, as well as the ability to train as a full-time photographer in the fall and winter (pay will be daily rate+commission for photogs). 1099 employee, paid weekly, with bonus incentives.

Looking for someone to grow with the company and assist in expansion later in 2027.

Requirements:

* A reliable vehicle and able to travel around Phoenix and surrounding suburbs. This job location changes daily.

*Fingerprint clearance card OR ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card (background check)

*Ability to work the times above.

* Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

*Detail-oriented person with good time management (punctual).

*Moves with urgency and is proactive.

*Basic knowledge of Excel and Word.

* Ability to quickly develop a good rapport with children and adults.

* Must be able to pass background check and drug tests.

*Reliable

Preferred, but not a “Must”:

* Previous retail, sales, service-related or photography experience.

* Previous child-related experience (teacher, counselor, child care, etc.)

*Fluent in Spanish

*Fingerprint Clearance Card
