Pre-Production has begun and we are currently looking to hire on our Cinematographer for this Production. Each day will last 12 Hours with a mix of Indoor/Outdoor Shooting and Day/Night Shoots, however a heavy quantity of the Production ranging at about 90% will take place during the Daytime Outdoors. All Filming will take place in the greater Los Angeles area (Hollywood/Santa Monica/Burbank/Pasadena/Orange County/Santa Clarita/etc). This is a very gritty Film involving violence, gore, sex, death, the whole works, and we want this to come off visually to capture the Horror element of this Picture yet at the same time we want to make sure that Dialogue and Character development do it’s part to create an amazing emotional journey. Shooting entirely on Location (which we do) can make this more difficult to achieve and get exactly what we want yet we expect you the Cinematographer to always have an answer or solution to a problem and never take the easy way out or try to just move on and be finished for the day.
