Client‑Facing Media Specialist (Real Estate Photography)

This role is primarily a people job with some camera work mixed in.

Roughly 80% customer interaction, 20% photography.

If you’re not naturally good with people, this will be a bad fit.

We will only move forward with applicants who:

Have at least 2 years in a job where you dealt with customers all day (restaurant, retail, hospitality, teaching, healthcare, etc.)
Enjoy conversation and can keep homeowners and agents at ease during a visit
Are coachable, willing to be trained, and comfortable following checklists
Can reliably offer a minimum of 3 weekdays between about 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (schedule depends on bookings)

If your ideal day is “show up, take pictures, speak to no one, go home,” this is not the position for you.

Who We Are

Property Marketing Media is a real estate media company serving the Triad, NC. We help agents win listings and stand out online with high‑quality photos, video, and 3D tours. Our team handles booking, client communication, and editing. Your main job: take care of people on site and capture the property.

What You’ll Be Doing

Driving to homes around the Triad for scheduled appointments
Greeting agents / homeowners and clearly explaining what will happen
Making clients feel comfortable, listened to, and looked after
Following our shot list for photos, video, and 3D tours
Uploading files after each job using our workflow

We supply the equipment and give you full training.

Have solid customer service history and can share real examples of calming upset or nervous customers
Are dependable, on time, and do what you say you’ll do
Like being out on the road rather than stuck at a desk
Want flexible daytime hours and extra income
Are interested in learning real estate photography, video, 3D tours, and drone work

Have little or no experience working directly with customers
Get overwhelmed dealing with people or on-the-spot problems
Dislike feedback, coaching, or using checklists
Need full‑time, guaranteed hours
Cannot commit to 3 or more weekdays of availability between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

Reside in the Triad, NC area
Typically free most weekdays 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., at least 3 days/week
Reliable vehicle (2015 or newer), valid driver’s license and insurance
iPhone 14 Pro or newer (or willing to upgrade within 30 days)
Professional, business‑casual appearance
Fast home internet for uploading media
Able to pass a background check
Willing to sign a standard non‑solicitation agreement
Drone experience / Part 107 is a plus; we can help you get certified once you’ve proven reliable

Pay & Hours

Pay: $20–$30 per hour equivalent, paid per shoot (varies by job type and volume)
Schedule: Part‑time, as‑needed. Hours change week to week depending on bookings. Primarily weekdays, some twilight shoots.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
