Founded as a non-profit corporation in November 2005, Villa Musica is a vibrant gathering place where people can come together to take music lessons, play in an ensemble, or participate in a workshop. Job Description: The Communications Coordinator at Villa Musica will be an integral part of the admin team working in these four essential areas: • Social Media • Volunteer Coordination • Event Support • Front Desk support Social Media: In collaboration with the rest of the Admin Team, the Communications Coordinator will develop content for multiple social media platforms that is relevant to the current and potential student base. The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the monthly newsletter and maintain Villa Musica’s Blog www.villamusica.org/blog Volunteer Coordination: As Villa Musica’s volunteer coordinator, the Communications Coordinator will serve as the liaison and first point of contact for all volunteer activity for the organization. The priority for event support will be the gathering of photos and videos for posting on Social Media and the website.
