This position will report to the Vice President and the Vice President of Safety and be responsible for the following duties: · Create and develop Daily News Topics for crews regarding safety or training; · Manage company website and social media; · Create videos for various marketing tools; · Review, edit and prepare a wide variety of corporate and technical documentation for short turnaround assignments and longer term projects such marketing materials; · Assist in the development and maintenance, including research, of new or existing documents; · Work between the safety and operations departments to develop site specific safety plans; · Work directly with the safety department to help complete incident and accident reports; · Assist in the development, writing, and proofing of proposal and project specific documents for submission to owner/agencies; and · Assist in rewriting/updating safety and other company manuals. Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism or other writing- related field; · Excellent technical writing and editing skills for content, grammar, writing style; · Excellent organizational skills; · Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively and constructively with others; · Proficient in MS Office/ Adobe Acrobat; and · Video presentation and photography skills preferred. Successful applicant must reside within a reasonable driving distance from the office.
