Position Summary We’re looking for an upbeat and positive Sales-Driven Manager and Sales Associates with a background or interest in home furnishings and home design in our Santa Barbara Showroom. • Take photos of our new items get them uploaded to the website • Accept or deny items from consignors that email 10 times a day and while placing items on the floor that came in the hour before. • You will balance excellent customer service with the demands of a busy store environment constantly and keeping up with the hectic sales nature of our store. Depending on the level you are starting at you may be required to have: ● 3 years of previous sales experience ● Ability to meet and exceed sales goals ● Ideas on how to market and get our store publicity and press ● Passion for design, business and other creative pursuits ● Engaging communication style with customers and designers ● Ability to identify customer needs and problem solve, to understand and explain product features and benefits ● Ability to work weekends and holidays ● Knowledge of POS systems and a high level of comfort with technology, photography of furniture, posting on craigs list, Facebook etc.
