Pro Shots Photography is seeking friendly, dependable Customer Service Representatives to support our youth sports picture-day events.

This is a fast-paced, public-facing position for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and enjoys helping parents, coaches, and athletes. Customer Service Representatives are often the first point of contact on picture day and play an important role in keeping registration, check-in, payments, and the overall event running smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities

Greet parents, coaches, athletes, and league representatives
Check in teams and explain picture-day procedures to coaches
Assist parents with registration, forms, access codes, and general questions
Verify participant information and help correct incomplete or inaccurate details
Process cash, credit card, and other approved payments
Accurately count money and provide correct change
Operate point-of-sale equipment, such as Square or a similar payment system
Help organize team arrivals and maintain an efficient check-in flow
Communicate with photographers, assistants, and other staff to keep the event on schedule
Troubleshoot registration, payment, scheduling, and customer service issues
Keep the customer service and check-in area clean and organized
Protect customer information and handle transactions responsibly
Follow established Pro Shots Photography procedures
Arrive on time and remain available for the full scheduled event
Represent Pro Shots Photography in a friendly and professional manner
Perform other event-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous customer service, retail, front desk, event, registration, or cash-handling experience is preferred
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable speaking with individuals and groups
Ability to remain calm and professional when assisting frustrated or confused customers
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Experience handling cash and making correct change
Experience using a credit card terminal or point-of-sale system is preferred
Comfortable using tablets, mobile devices, and online registration systems
Able to work efficiently in a busy and sometimes noisy environment
Dependable, organized, and able to follow established procedures
Able to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team
Professional appearance and demeanor
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to event locations throughout the Central Valley
Bilingual English and Spanish skills are helpful but not required

Schedule and Availability

This is a part-time, seasonal, event-based position. Work is primarily available during the spring and fall youth sports seasons.

Schedules vary based on league, school, and event dates. Most assignments take place during:

Saturdays and Sundays
Weekday afternoons and evenings
Occasional weekday school hours
Early morning start times for larger picture days

A typical weekend event may run approximately 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, while weekday events may run approximately 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Some events may require longer shifts depending on the size of the organization and event schedule.

This is not a guaranteed-hours position. Team members are scheduled based on event needs, availability, experience, performance, and seasonal workload. Applicants should have regular weekend availability during the spring and fall seasons.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry equipment or supplies weighing up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to bend, squat, and move frequently during an event
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions
Ability to assist with event setup, breakdown, and organization as needed

Location

This is an on-location position. Photo shoots are held at schools, parks, sports complexes, gyms, and other locations throughout Fresno and the Central Valley.

Reliable transportation is required.
