We do not participate in any insurance networks, however, we do accept insurance and we see many new patients every day we are open. **Specific responsibilities and duties:** • Processing payments from patients and recording them on the ledgers • Processing and sending insurance claims on behalf of the patient for services performed • Processing and sending insurance pre-estimates on behalf of the patient for potential services • Scanning and recording any papers created as a result of the patient’s visit • Creating and updating patient files in Dentrix software • Reprocessing/resubmitting insurance claims with photos, narratives, etc., when needed • Graciously, professionally and in a very friendly manner helping patients with any questions regarding their visit • Calling on claims not yet received to get the claim processed by the insurance company • Other administrative and organizational duties, as assigned, associated with front office duties **Required qualifications:** • Ability to accurately account for funds paid by a variety of payment methods (cash, check, credit, 3rd party financing) • Excellent and accurate math skills • Excellent multitasking • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Required personality and behavioral characteristics:** • Team player • Quick to learn • No holding on to upsets or disagreements • High duplication of tasks and directions and details • Responsible for job and patient • Highly ethical and accountable (when interacting with patients, this is very important) • Attention to minute detail • Very well organized • Upbeat and enthusiastic • Professional personal presentation and demeanor is required **Offered salary and other compensations:** We offer a very competitive starting salary, based on your experience and performance record – including benefits such as dental, paid vacations, supplemental insurance, transportation benefits, bonuses and education.
