Registered Dental Assistant 2020 What you can expect from the office: -Very generous employer (welcome to ask any team member what that means) -High tech and modern equipment -Clean, organized office with established systems -Skilled team members with many years of experience -Well respected private practice in our community -We accept no HMOs and are only in network with Delta Premier -Amazing patients that make the day and your job fulfilling -Interview day(s) pay: $25/hr (after a verbal interview) -Salary: $25/hr - $30+ /hr, depending on all of the above -Paid personal time off -Paid Holidays -Paid sick time -401K retirement plan with matching 4% -Profit sharing -Continuing education -Medical Insurance pay with multiple policy options -Dental Benefits for you and family What we expect from you: -Registered Dental Assistant in California, Active License -At least three years experience as an RDA -Can work full time (36-40 hrs per week) -Long term career -Able to quickly establish rapport and relationship with patient families -Takes responsibility and ownership for their positon -Self-motivated, not requiring employer to double check work -Works well with others (patients and team members) -Attendance and prompt arrival to work -Professional appearance, presence -Equipment maintenance and delicate care as if it were your own -Digital sensor Xray for an efficient, diagnostic FMX -Temporary crown fabrication that is efficient and comfortable for patients -Extraoral and intraoral digital photography -Alginate, PVS full arch impressions without multiple retakes -Successfully manage adults and children with dental anxiety -Confidence in explaining treatment to patients and parents -Able to help patient get scheduled for their next visit -Understand the principles behind bonding and the need for dry isolation -Ordering and Maintaining Supplies without running out -Keeping rooms stocked, limiting leaving the operatory during procedures -Wrapping up appointments, leaving the patient question-free and happy -Handing off the patient to the front office so the patient fully understands what happens next -Eaglesoft software & very skilled on computers / fast learner -Email, attaching photos, scanning -Composites, Crown, Bridge, Implant Restoration (parts), Invisalign, Dentures -Helping patient communicate -Laboratory communication for due dates -Common sense & forward thinking -Excellent positive attitude, even during busy times -Appreciative and thankful person in general -Team player (meaning don’t come to work thinking what’s in it for me today) -Representing/promoting the office at all times within the office, during business hours but also outside of the office in the community and if applicable, on social media -Detailed chart notes and record keeping -Open to learning our offices’ systems – if you think you know it all because you’ve been in the field for many years & you want to keep doing things your way, don’t apply
