Have strong communication skills and can work with all of the different departmentsHave excellent technical skills with both photography and computersThis person should be detail oriented, organized and adaptable to changeCan stay calm under pressure in deadline situationsFAA 107 certifiedAbility to assign out daily assignments for staff photographers and coordinate with other editors as needed to prioritizeAbility to coordinate freelance both locally, nationally and occasionally internationallyStrong picture editing skills for selecting daily images and work within our CMS building galleries, using the strongest imagery for daily stories and long term projectsOccasional coaching and supervising photographersBring in depth project story ideas to the tableHave a strong knowledge of the latest industry trendsHave a strong understanding of the new technology to support our staffMust have up-to-date automobile insurance and a valid U.S. state-issued driver’s license.
