Design Coordinator Banyan Batiks by Northcott \- Littleton, CO Our office is located in Littleton, CO and we are currently looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant for the Design Studio, to join our Banyan Batiks Team. The candidate will need to be able to assist varying aspects of running the Studio, in a satellite office setting. Job description- Design Assistant Required skills: • Pursuing education in international business, Communications, Administration • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) • Positive attitude and ability to work independently and in a team environment • Must have the ability to think of establishing systems to work effectively for creatives • Must be able to time-manage and multitask efficiently • Works well under pressure • Friendly disposition • Organization, both maintain a design studio but also the admins behind it Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Work with Creative Director to communicate effectively with factories overseas, in Indonesia, maintaining production schedules and design schedules • Maintaining Excel spreadsheets for each release • Work with team to create PowerPoint presentation to support Creative Director • International shipping schedule for strike offs and sampling • Create and organize Excel spreadsheets to support management team to evaluate sales of specific designs by color, collection, or motif. • Prepare color references for factories, manage design library Work closely with the Creative Director of Banyan Batiks in working with factories in Indonesia, customer service in New Jersey, sales team around the world as well as marketing and operations in Toronto.
