About the Position The Design Coordinator will be part of a small, dedicated team of designers and video producers, and is responsible for event support (some photography, graphic design for posters, invitations), training support (Powerpoint template creation, training scenario photography) and brand integration with previously created materials. Further, they will support live film shoots as a sound or additional camera operator, and production assistant. The ideal candidate is a versatile individual who has strong photography editing and graphic design skills, is good at working collaboratively with a team, and is ready to work within the framework of a shared team drive, displaying an advanced attention to detail throughout all stages of the collaborative process, in the design stages through the fine details of delivering the product to a client; precise naming conventions, professional email etiquette, and managing access permissions on a shared drive all being important aspects of the job. Primary responsibilities are divided between photography post processing, clean-up and template application to presentations and handouts needing to be brought up to brand standards, and design of internal communications assets such as invitations, flyers, and posters. Strong Adobe CC skills in PS, AI, and ID Photographing employees and events for the company Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in a collaborative, fast-paced and ever-changing environment Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret complex materials Assisting with film equipment including portable audio recording devices, lighting and DSLR production Diligent note taker and multitasker who is not afraid to ask for help when needed 4 years of relevant experience that can include a BA or equivalent professional work with a portfolio A good team player Additional Qualities Familiarity with additional elements of the Adobe Creative Suite such as Lightroom, After Effects, Dreamweaver a plus.
