The specialist will have expertise in writing, editing, graphic design, website design and maintenance, social media management, and use of industry-standard digital communications technology. **Communications Department:** Communications supports Clackamas ESD’s role as a convener for education leaders and partners in Clackamas County. This department oversees the internal communications for the 400 Clackamas ESD employees dispersed in various locations across the county. ** * Partnering with the strategic communications director and others, develop and implement effective digital strategies, tactics and tools to advance the CESD mission * Manage platform development, content and outreach for CESD’s digital properties, including website, intranet and social media platforms * Manage digital communications content and outreach to multiple audiences with additional tools that include internal and external newsletters * Provide digital communications management and support to ESD communications clients, and support marketing of those services * Partner with human resources and individual department colleagues to develop innovative digital recruitment strategies * For complete list of essential functions, see job description **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** 1) Bachelor’s degree in communications-related field or equivalent experience 2) Excellent writing and editing skills, with particular expertise in writing for the web and social media 3) Experience in building and managing websites (ideally using WordPress) 4) Proficiency in basic graphic design (creation of specialized graphics for newsletters and social media, creation of promotional fliers, etc.)
