Digital Designer

Position: Digital Designer Hours: Part-Time 25 hours per week with benefits Remote: Yes, limited as project and staff needs allow Annual Range: $28,730.00 - $37,960.00 Location: Encompass Child Development Center, 9050 384th Ave SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98065 Encompass is a private non-profit serving the Snoqualmie Valley and Issaquah communities for over 55 years. We offer high quality, leading edge early childhood educational and therapeutic services to all children in our communities. Through thoughtful, on-brand print, digital design, and video production, this role will collaborate organization-wide to meet organizational branding and marketing goals. Equally important is the ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise appropriate discretion and judgment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design • Leverages existing templates to update print and digital marketing materials, including advertisements, flyers, brochures, and fundraising material • Works together with Development and Marketing teams to create branding for annual fundraising events and other special projects • Creates new templates and layouts for print and digital marketing materials as needed including annual report and email marketing campaigns • Provides content for various internal communications as needed • Light photo editing and photo resizing for web and social media Website Management • Updates all information and visuals posted on the Encompass website, promoting Encompass image and values, and ensuring up-to-date information on programs, classes, events and organizational news Branding • Ensures consistent use of logo and organizational branding as set by the brand guidelines • Gains an understanding of brand voice and utilizes it throughout deliverables Asset Management • Manage and maintain assets and file libraries Other Responsibilities • All other responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills/Abilities: • Publication, graphic design, and photography experience, including Adobe InDesign and Photoshop • Basic HTML coding skills; experience with WordPress sites is preferred • Filming and editing video using Premiere Pro • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills in a PC environment • Keen attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple, diverse projects under pressure Education: • Associate of Arts degree or certificate in a graphic design-related field • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for business use • Upon hire pass Washington State DSHS criminal history and background check and FBI fingerprint check if not in state for more than the past 4 years Preferred: • Video production experience, including shooting, editing, and finalizing video, for fundraising events and other special projects • Experience using Premiere Pro Benefits: • Medical/Dental/Vision • Company Paid Life/AD&D;/EAP • IRA & IRA Matching • Vacation/Sick Leave • 11 Paid Holidays • $50.00 – Monthly Cell Phone Reimbursement PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is an active job requiring lifting of up to 20 lbs., in an office environment Encompass is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
