The Digital Ark, Corp. (TDAC), a Rhode Island-based digital archiving and digitization firm specializing in preserving and sharing historic and special collections, is partnering with Brown University (BRU) for a large-scale cultural heritage digitization project beginning May 2022. This is a paid full-time position—40 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm). The candidate will be part of a team of 4 individuals working on this project and will be trained in all aspects of the digitization workflow including metadata, logging, digitizing, post- processing, and quality control. The digitization process involves the ability to maintain a high level of organization without compromising efficiency and speed, the ability to quickly learn new software and equipment, and a sharp eye for detail and digital image quality.
