Digital Imaging Technician / Collections Photographer

Pixel Acuity is seeking a Digital Imaging Technician at the Los Angeles: Culver City location. The scope of work requires close attention to detail and following imaging instructions for the project. Project/Service • Perform Imaging procedures (Capture and QC-1 tasks) of 2,000 captures per work week with less than 2% error rate (throughput of at least 100 captures per hour) • Capture: use Phase One digital copy camera systems to image heritage materials and utilize target validation tools to ensure archival and preservation-grade digital images • Quality Control: fulfill tasks outlined in project specifications • Organize files on MacOS computers and update progress tracking and production reports daily • Communicate and provide weekly schedule to the Project Manager Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
