Pay: Starting at approximately $20.75 per hour Start Date: as soon as possible Available Hours: 16 - 19 hours per week between the hours of 7am and 5pm M-F Location: On the historic Stanford University campus in Palo Alto. Duties include, but are not limited to, operating digitization devices and/or a photography rig (training provided), quality control, content preparation, tracking materials and their digital images, file management tasks, the movement of physical items, and other administrative tasks. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team of skilled technicians equipped with professional-level production facilities while working closely with fascinating collections of cultural heritage materials. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required): Attention to detail and consistency Willingness to learn and ask questions Reliability General computer skills, and ability to quickly learn and master computer programs Experience with Google Docs and spreadsheets Ability to work under deadlines independently or with general guidance Excellent communication and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to complete detailed, repetitive work accurately in a timely manner Access to a computer and stable, high bandwidth internet for work-from-home tasks (optional) Desired Qualifications: Ability to handle fragile materials with care (training provided). In-person presence in the imaging labs involves daily adherence to COVID-19 safety measures.
